The first public release candidate.

• Entitlement / login config baked into the release binary — the released binary carries its entitlement and login configuration, so a fresh install is correctly licensed out of the box (#2233).
• Stopped install --global self-wiping the running binary on macOS — fixed a macOS bug where re-installing globally could delete the binary that was running the install (#2243).
• Dropped the dead Homebrew formula + its release guard — removed an unused Homebrew formula and the release-pipeline guard that referenced it (#2244).
• goreleaser v2 config — moved the release config to goreleaser v2 (string before.hooks + archives.formats) so release builds cut cleanly (#2245).
• macOS-portable cockpit nav hints + co-located docs CSS — fixed the cockpit navigation hints to render portably on macOS and co-located the docs CSS (#2222, #2242).
• Portable heartbeat lock — the billing heartbeat lock is portable so the cockpit context widget works on macOS (#2239).
• Hot-reload repo index — the docs daemon hot-reloads its repo index so late-registered repos show their docs without a daemon restart (#2238).
