What shipped
The glyph hotfix. Hours after v1.1.2 shipped, a desktop cockpit came up with every brand glyph — the flame, the status dots, the frame ticks — drawn as a bare underscore. Not a font problem: the terminal multiplexer decides per client whether the screen can render UTF-8 by reading the client process's locale, and an app launched from the macOS Dock inherits no locale at all, so the whole cockpit was silently demoted to ASCII. This release closes that class for good.
Glyphs render everywhere, by construction
FlowForge now guarantees a UTF-8 locale at every seam that can spawn or become a terminal client: the desktop app's spawn environment, the cockpit's own launch path, and worker-session founding (headless and MCP spawns included). An inherited locale is always respected — the guard only fills the gap when the environment has none. Proven with a live A/B render, regression-pinned in both the CLI and the desktop app, and reviewed GOLDEN. Terminal-launched cockpits are untouched; desktop-launched cockpits stop depending on luck.
